The ECHUCA
HERITAGE SWEET COMPANY is located near the historic
Port of Echuca, 200 kilometers from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
The Port
of Echuca is situated on the banks of the Murray River which
forms the border
between Victoria and New South Wales
in southern Australia, and serves
the oldest fleet of operating paddle steamers in the world.
The ECHUCA HERITAGE SWEET
COMPANY commenced trading on 15th December 2002 under
the ownership of Ken and Heather Wells. The ECHUCA
HERITAGE SWEET COMPANY offers only the finest quality
chocolate and confectionery. Our range includes confectionery
manufactured locally and around Australia
by craftsmen confectioners using the finest ingredients. We
also offer a broad range of English and Scottish confectionery
along with an extensive selection of Dutch licorice and sugar free sweets.
On the evening of the 19th April 2007 our business was destroyed by a devastating fire. Over the next 3 months we recovered and re-grouped to once again commence trading. On 22nd December 2007 we re-opened our new store and look forward to welcoming everyone to the Grandest Lolly Shop in Australia.
Thanks to the support of our loyal staff and customers our business is once again an icon for visitors to the towns of Echuca and Moama. |
